The Difference Between Religion and Jesus Christ

A man can find himself in different state of confusion caused by different circumstances of life but the biggest confusion that a man can have is when he finds himself in the state of equating Jesus Christ with religion.

Many with the evil heart of unbelief over the years have argued that Jesus Christ came to establish religion (Hebrews 3:12) . This has made some others to find it extremely difficult differentiating religion from the works of Christ on the cross of Calvary (1 Peter 2:24).

Jesus never came to establish religion but came to reestablish the lost relation between God and man. Our early parents — Adam and Eve first enjoyed perfect communion with God the Father until the fall of man when they disobeyed God not to eat from the forbidden tree (Genesis 2:16-17). Man was driven from the Garden of Eden and presence of the Lord thereafter (Genesis 3:23, 24). So Jesus came to reestablish that once perfect relationship of man with God.

Any man who forsake sin and accept Jesus into his heart has restored communion with the Father (Acts 10:43). Jesus Christ is the mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5). Mediator in the sense that He acts as a bridge between the separated God and man because of disobedience (Romans 5:19). For this reason Jesus said no man can go back to the Father except through the Him, the Son (John 14:6).

Jesus Christ never died for religion. He died to save and redeem mankind from destruction and doom which was certain for man if Jesus had not come. The blood Jesus on the cross is for the remission of sins (Romans 3:25) replacing the blood sacrifice of animals which was a means of atonement of sin in those days. Now there is no need for slaughter of animals for the forgiveness of sins because of the works of Jesus Christ on the cross. If we just confess our sins, the Lord is faithful and just to forgive our sins and cleanse us — with the blood Jesus from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

Jesus Christ was never religious but holy sent by God to save man (John 3:16). It was even the religious scribes and Pharisees that troubled Jesus ministry accusing Him of blasphemy for equating Himself with God (John 10:30) but whether anyone likes it or not, all knees shall bow and all tongues shall confess that Jesus Christ is the Lord including all religions and religious people (Romans 14:11; Philippians 2:9-11).

Just the same way religion was against the ministry of Jesus in those days, so also it is now. Jesus is never for religion but religion against the works of Christ.

Christianity is having an intimate relationship with God through Christ. Christianity without the adherence of Christ’s principles and doctrine cannot be referred to as Christianity but religion also. Christianity without the influence of the Holy Spirit is not Christianity but religion.

Jesus should not be confused with religion because Jesus is far above religion. Jesus the only way to God and not religion (John 14:6). While religion has led to the lost of many lives and properties, the works of Christ redeem mankind and has saved many lives from hell and death and still save till today and the future to come (Revelation 1:18).

Revelation 1:18 KJV “I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.”

Does God Choose Spouse for Man or Every Man for Himself?

There have been some arguments as to whether God choose spouse for man. Some say yes, and some others conclude the negative that every man is left with his own will to make choice for himself.

While God does make choice for man, He doesn’t compel anyone to accept the choice. God gives everyone the freewill to either accept the choice or not; just the same way He gives everyone the freewill to either do good or evil. But there are always future consequences for going contrary to the will of the almighty God and anyone who does so, should be ready to bear the consequences.

The first marriage between Adam and Eve presided by God Himself signify that God still choose spouse for man. It was God who formed Eve for Adam and brought her to him (Genesis 2:21-22). Adam could have said she was not his choice but he accepted instead and professed his admiration for her and they were declared husband and wife (Genesis 2:23-24).

Since the fall of Adam and the fall of man and after sin came into the world, man could no longer dwell in the presence of God for God to make choice for them. Man was driven from the presence of God (Genesis 3:24) not only to till the ground from which he was taken (Genesis 3:23), but to live life all for himself and by himself including making choices for himself. God who doesn’t want man to remain in this state provided a remedy for man by sending His Son Jesus to restore that lost relationship between the Father and children (1 Timothy 2:5; John 14:6).

1 Timothy 2:5 KJV: “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;”

Through Jesus our relationship with God is restored and our spirit bear witness with the Spirit that we are children of God once again after the privilege was lost in the garden of Eden (Romans 8:16). When we become children of God just like the father of a new born child, it is God who now makes choice for us both in marriage, career and every other aspect of our lives (Jeremiah 29:11). He can communicate the choice through diverse means like visions, dream or a still small voice after asking Him in prayers (Mark 11:24).

At it is written in Jeremiah 10:23 “O Lord , I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps”.

It is not man that direct his steps. It is God Himself who directs the steps of His children and their steps are all ordered by the Lord, not man nor the world (Psalm 37:23). The child may have his own plan but it’s the Lord that direct His steps (Proverbs 16:9). Just the same way the ways and choice of a little child is always ordered by parents as he knows nothing but the father knows better and it is the child's choice to either obey or disobey.

In summary, God only makes choices and choose spouse for His children whose relationship with Him has been restored by the sacrificial blood of Jesus on the cross of Calvary and whoever desires to know the exact spouse God wants for him or her should come to Him though His Son Jesus to save all the headache (Matthew 11:28).

Matthew 11:28: “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

1 Corinthians 7, makes us understand that getting marriage is a choice and not a compulsion (Matthew 19:10-12). Marriage is not an achievement and neither is it something to be too excited about. It is like a cross which each and everyone one of us see, pick and lay on our shoulders and must carry till the very end of our lives (Matthew 5:32) and it comes with enormous responsibility, trials, disagreement and temptation.

Marriage is like a water and oil trying to mix together and can actually mix: with man this is impossible but with God, all things are possible (Mark 10:27).

The Major Problem of the World and Solution

The world was created by God with peace and harmony (Genesis 1:1) until the fall of man through disobedience to God’s word in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3). The world was created to be devoid of problems like sin, sickness and death but man’s disobedience to God’s instruction not to eat from the forbidden tree brought the whole problems of we see in the world today.

Some have attributed the problem of the world to diverse reasons like politics, religion, with some attributing their problems to witchcraft. While problems may have come from the listed above and many others, they are not the major problem of the world. The major problem of the world is negligence and disobedience to God’s word (Joshua 1:8).

The negligence to the word and instructions of God has always been the major problem of the world. Man was created to give glory and honour to God, diligently keeping His commandments (Deuteronomy 6:17). The major duty of man is to keep the commandments of God (Ecclesiastes 12:13) but we all have been deceived by the spirit of the world to think we have any other more serious duty than this (2 Corinthians 4:4; Ephesians 2:2).

In the day of old, during the early existence of man — Adam and Eve, God spoke and gave instruction directly with His presence but today God still speak to us but this time, through His Word — the Holy Bible, written by the inspiration of God and writers wrote as they were moved by the Holy Ghost (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21). The Holy Bible is given to us as a second chance to obey God after the fatal disobedience by our early parents.

God loves man so much that He sent His only begotten son — Jesus to cancel the disobedience of our early parents that by the obedience of our Lord Jesus Christ many who were made sinners by the disobedience of Adam will be made righteous by the obedience of Christ even unto death on the cross of Calvary (Romans 5:19; Philippians 2:8).

Jesus Christ brought hope and without Jesus coming to the world, there would have been no remedy or redemption for man from the “sorry” state which disobedience placed man in. Jesus is the solution to the whole world’s problems. Man should be grateful to God who always has solution every problem and provided one for the world. Without Jesus, all our obedience would be self righteousness which would have been as filthy rags in the sight of God (Isaiah 64:6), but by His atoning blood on the cross, we are made just in the sight of God (Romans 5:9).

Adam and Eve sparked the problem of the world by their disobedience, man continues the same problem by the negligence of God’s word and instruction in the Holy Bible, while God has provided the solution to the problem by making His word (the Holy Bible) available and sending His Son to die for the world (John 3:16), so man is without excuse (Roman 1:20).

Accept the solution which has already been made available to us by diligently obeying God’s commandments (John 14:15) and accepting Jesus into your heart, taking Him as your Shepherd that you should obey, trust and follow (John 10:27).

Overcoming Youthful Sexual Lust

Just as the word of God has admonished us to flee from all youthful lust (2 Timothy 2:22) that can drag us into the sin of fornication and adultery which is against the commandment of God (Exodus 20:14) and a sin against our own body (1 Corinthians 6:18).

2 Timothy 2:22 KJV: “Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.”

In recent times, lust has plagued not only the youth, but the children and elderly also and it’s a menace that is still eating deep into the society. I myself faced diverse youthful lust and the temptation to sin (Titus 3:3, Romans 3:23), but through Jesus and by His grace I overcame (Ephesians 2:8; 1 Peter 1:14).

With the increase in the inappropriate things the eye can see around us like indecent dressing (1 Timothy 2:9), inappropriate videos and pictures on various media outlet, sexual lust seems to be going out of control, but with God, it can be avoided and overcome.

To overcome sexual lust, first accept Jesus who came to save us from all works of Satan that can destroy us (John 3:17) and wash us from all unrighteousness and uncleanness which sexual lust may have done to our body and heart (Ephesians 5:3; Ezekiel 36:26). Studying the word of God and praying always will also help in subduing the flesh (Galatians 5:16; 1 Corinthians 9:27), but I will deliberate more on the eye-control technique.

The eye control technique was taught by Jesus Christ in Matthew 5:28:“But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart”.

The verse makes us understand that we can sin by what we look and thus affect the heart, which affects the whole body thereafter. We may look coincidentally the first time, but the danger point is looking twice which can make us be looking till the eyes refuse to go off it completely (1 John 2:16).

The Lord Jesus has made us to understand that the light of the body is the eye (Matthew 6:22). Just like the mouth, whatever you take in through the eye affects the whole body (Luke 11:34). The eyes need proper care if we are to overcome sexual lust. Proper care has to be taken on what we look either online or offline.

When you come across a picture or video which you consider and know is inappropriate, don’t look twice and take your eyes off it. Practice they say makes perfect and when you practice this for some time consistently, in due time, it will become part of you and then after, the lust and sexual urge will be reduced to it barest minimum.

The Biblical Origin and Cause of Sickness

Do you know that it has never been the will of God for man to be sick or for man to die? Yes, it has never been part of God’s plan for man to sick or die.

Sickness and death we see today are some of the fruits, among others, inherited from the disobedience of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden (Romans 5:19). When Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit, they disobeyed God’s command that instructed them not to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and it was after which, sin and sickness and death came into the world (Genesis 2:17).

Man was never created to be sick or to die. When God created man, He placed man in the Garden of Eden and gave instruction to man not to eat from the forbidden fruit and that the day that they do, they will surely die (Genesis 2:17). That is the origin of the whole problem of the world and that was how sickness and death came into the world.

Adam ate from the tree, and though he did not die immediately, he died eventually and the death transferred to all his descendants.

Some sickness is caused by sin, but not all sickness is a result of sin. If all sickness is a result of sin, then all should be sick by  now because all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23).

Some of the sickness caused by sin are sickness that result from sinful activities like fornication that can result to sickness like HIV and aids (Ephesians 5:3); sickness caused by moral misconduct like smoking that can cause harm to the lungs, liver and other body systems. To overcome such sin, we need to forsake all unrighteousness and cleave to God that we might overcome all lust of the flesh and have total self control against self will (Romans 6:13; Galatians 5:16).

Some sickness is as a result of the affliction of the devil (Acts 10:38). The devil can afflict someone with a strange ailment to tempt him. He is given every room and opportunity to afflict us when we are active in sin. A man living a godly life cannot easily be afflicted by the devil because he is covered by the blood of Jesus and invincibly putting on the armor of God by which he is able to stand against all the wiles and arrows of the devil including sickness (Ephesians 6:11). Sickness afflicted by the devil can cured by prayers and faith healing.

God who can just put an end to the sickness in this present world, took a bold step in the right direction by sending forth His Son Jesus to die for us on the cross. Jesus Christ bore our sickness and infirmities on the cross (Matthew 8:17) which was inherited from the Adam’s era and that by His stripes we are healed (1 Peter 2:24; Isaiah 53:5).

Now through Jesus, we don’t only have hope for eternal life, but also, by the name of Jesus every sickness of any kind can be prayed upon and healed.

Mark 16:17-18 KJV
And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; [18] They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Jesus has the power to heal and to forgive. Just turn from your wicked and sinful ways, and he will heal you of that sickness that has plagued your life for years ( 2 Chronicles 7:14; Exodus 15:26).

How to Identify a False Prophet and Teacher

Just as Jesus taught and warned us to beware of false prophets who comes in sheep clothing but inwardly, they are wolves (Matthew 7:15).

Matthew 7:15 “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.”

False prophets are tagged workers of iniquity (Matthew 7:23) who think what they do is right but in the end, on the day of judgment the Lord Jesus will deny them and ask them to depart from His presence and that He never knew them ( Matthew 7:21-23 ; Proverbs 14:12). You can know them by their fruits and by their way of life (Matthew 7:20).

Meticulous study of the word of God can help in identifying false teachers and their doctrines (2 Timothy 2:15). With the word of God, you can easily detect and discern if what is being taught is true. The Holy Bible is an epitome of infallible truth and knowing it will help in differentiating the truth from the false (John 8:32).

A true preacher called to preach, preach that which is in accordance with the word of God. A false teacher cannot teach the scripture well enough because it is the Holy Spirit — the Chief teacher of the whole universe (John 14:26) that teaches the scriptures to an individual and only those having the Holy Spirit indwell in them can teach the scripture more effectively (1 Corinthians 6:19). Put into notice what the preacher preach and how it relate with the scripture.

Jesus should be the main focus of any true preacher (John 14:6). Jesus stated categorically that we can do nothing without Him unless we abide in Him (John 15:5) and no one can preach sound doctrine without abiding in Jesus (John 15:4). A congregation where Jesus is not the center focus is not a church but a cult because Christianity is all about Christ and being Christ like.

The life of a true preacher should reflect what he preaches, since according to the scripture we can know them by their fruits and way of life. If he preaches what is good, he himself should do what is good and right always keeping diligently the commandments of God (Luke 6:43 ; Matthew 7:17).

Luke 6:43: “For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.”

A prophet can be a foreteller of future events, but when he prophesies and it does not come to pass, know that such prophet and his prophesy is not from God and such prophet such be avoided (Deuteronomy 18:22).

Deuteronomy 18:22: “When a prophet speaketh in the name of the Lord , if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.”

Hypocrisy and pretense can also be seen in the life of a false prophet or teacher. Display of outward kindness and public righteousness can be a trait of a false prophet. Jesus Christ says we shouldn’t give alms for recognition or praise of men (Matthew 6:1), or public righteousness like praying and fasting to be seen and praised by men (Matthew 6:1-5). Giving alms publicly to be seen by all is against the laws of Christ and such prophet who does this may not do it genuinely from the heart but with hidden motives.

Don’t be swayed by outward public kindness because even the servants of Satan can disguise themselves as angels of light ( 2 Corinthians 11:13-14). Don’t be overwhelmed by signs and wonders (John 4:48; 1 John 4:1), because even false prophets do signs and wonders also. Jesus warned that they will display signs and wonders deceiving many including the elects (Mark 13:22; Matthew 24:24).

Matthew 24:24: “For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”

Finally brethren, test every spirit. Every spirit from God confesses that Jesus come in human form and no man can declare that Jesus Christ is the Lord except by the power of the Holy Ghost (1 John 4:1-3; 1 Corinthians 12:3).

1 Corinthians 12:3: “Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.”

How to Effectively Study the Holy Bible

The importance of studying the Holy Bible cannot be overemphasized. The word of God has admonished us to study diligently that we might be approved of God and will be able to correctly handle the word of God and every other truth (2 Timothy 2:15).

2 Timothy 2:15 KJV: “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

There are so many bible versions today and  controversies lingers on which is the most appropriate or best to study. I personally use the King James Version of the bible because according to many, it is the most authoritative version of the Holy Bible.

To study the Holy Bible effectively, the first step to take is to pray (Luke 18:1). All understanding comes from God and understanding His own word is not an exception (Proverbs 2:6). Pray to God to give you the wisdom and understanding of His word and He will give you because as the scripture has said, He gives wisdom liberally to all who ask (James 1:5). Also pray that the relevant passages you read in the bible will speak to the present needs of your heart (Matthew 6:8).

Read context by context and don’t read out of context. Some of the bibles are designed with topics assigned to each context but if you are not with such bible, try to discern the context even without topics. For example, Matthew 7:7-12 is a context of it own where Jesus admonished His followers to ask anything they want from God and they will receive (Mark 11:24). The Holy Bible consists of different ideas arranged context by context.

Read slowly and don’t be in a hurry to go over to the next page. Understand one verse completely before trying to go over to the next verse. Remember more haste less speed, and it’s not by how far you study the bible but how well you understand the little you know and have read.

You can study the bible also with bible concordance. Concordance is like a dictionary of the bible which helps in finding meaning to some words that are obscure. Just the same way we study other books with the dictionary, so also we study the Holy Bible with concordance. There are variety to pick from and one of them I know is the Strongs Exhaustive Bible Concordance.

Since no one can know it all, rely on others like your church teachers as your guide as you study the scripture. If there is anything you still don’t find clear after following those steps, you can ask a more experience person who has gain more knowledge of the scripture than you have. You can also ask any other who isn’t your teacher but you feel will have an idea to that posed bible issue.

Finally , there is no specific time to study the bible. Study at your convenience but most preferable in the morning because you may have been refreshed from the previous day and your understanding will be refreshed also.

How Satan and His Agents Steal from Christians

Just as it is written in John 10:10, “ The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy …” Where Satan and his agents can’t kill and destroy, they steal. Satan steal because he doesn’t have the power over life and death. Jesus does (Revelation 1:18). All Satan does is lure his prey to sin and watch the individual killed slowly by the sin (Romans 6:23).

There are several ways Satan and his agents steal from the saints, but I will only deliberate on the few once I know. We should not be ignorant of the devil’s devices and strategies (2 Corinthians 2:11) and we should be aware that some are working for Satan to populate the kingdom of darkness and these are called his agents (1 Timothy 5:15). The agents are either fallen angels which Satan tempted to sin against God in heaven, or human agents which the fallen angels — demons — have possessed entirely (Matthew 8:28-29).

One of the major ways Satan and his agents steal from the saints is during the gathering of believers. When the children of God gather to worship the name of the Lord, the agents of Satan come along also (Job 1:6). Not to worship God, but to create distortions in the gathering to ensure that the children of God doesn’t concentrate on the word of God and get the desired blessings for the service.

Some of the ways the agents of Satan cause distortions in church fellowship is by casting sleep spells in the gathering. This explains why individuals are often tempted to sleep in the church. Most of those sleep you see are not ordinary sleep but a forceful one to prevent the children of God to hear the word of God and take their blessings home. Some other ways they cause distraction is by deliberately making their phones to ring and causing other distractions during prayer and worship. To prevent this from happening, prayers should be conducted before and the during the church gathering (Acts 1:14) .

Another way Satan and his agents steal from the children is God is sex in the dream during sleep. In the dream, they cause the individual to have sex with them in the sleep and most of the time the individual wakes up wet with semen. This is generally accepted in the society today and a name has been given to it called “wet dream” but I tell you the truth, there is nothing wet in any dream because it is a demonic activity in the sleep with the aim to steal strength and blessings from the individual. This explains why some individual wakes up weak with body pains because of some manipulation that have been done in the sleep.

If you’re spiritually mature, you will get the sensation in the sleep but if on the other hand you’re spiritually immature, they will come and go, while you wake up as usual as if nothing happened. To prevent this from happening, pray before you sleep and sleep with your Holy Bible open with key chapters like Ephesians six containing the protective armour of God open.

Apart from sex in the dream, Satan also steal from the saints with physical sex which is known as fornication. For this reason, the scripture has warned us to flee from fornication because while other sins is a sin outside the body, fornication is a sin against our own body (1 Corinthians 6:18).

Sexual intercourse is a spiritual bond and so many complex spiritual things go on in the process. With fornication, so many destinies have been ruined and great men turned to pieces of bread (Proverbs 6:26). The good news is that there is a cure and Jesus Christ the Lord of Lords, is the cure (John 10:10).

Accept Jesus today and be saved (1 John 1:9).

How to Ask and Receive from God

As the word has said that we should ask and when we do, it will be given to us (Matthew 7:7), but some complain that when they ask from God in prayer they don’t seem to get response. There are several reasons why some may not get answers from God when they pray and I will be giving out some of these reasons.

God through His word has told us that the prayer of a sinner is an abomination to Him but the prayer of the righteous is His delight (Proverbs 15:8; Proverbs 28:9). What that means is that sin will always be an hindrance in getting our prayers answered by God. The solution to this is to have and maintain a clear and clean conscience before God who knows the inner thoughts of every man (Job 34:21; Psalm 139:7-8; John 2:25).

To have a clear conscience before God, you need to repent of your sins by prayer of repentance and confession asking Jesus to cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9) . When cleansed by the blood of Jesus, there will therefore be no condemnation in you anymore (Romans 8:1) and whatsoever you ask and in the name of Jesus and you believe you have receive, you will get it ( 1 John 3:21-22; Mark 11:24 ).

Another reason why we may ask from God and get not reply from Him is because we ask for our own selfish desire and gain and not for the benefit of others or for the glory of God and the benefit of His kingdom (James 4:3; Proverbs 1:28).

James 4:3 KJV :“Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.”

When you ask from God in prayer, have good intentions in your heart  and how it can be of benefit to others and the kingdom of God (1 Corinthians 10:31)

Praying the word of God back to God will also help. When you pray, try to quote the scriptures in your prayers. The word of God is God’s word. God understands all languages but praying in His own word, I believe, will make Him listen: just as anyone would love to listen from anyone what he or she had already spoken.

Pray with the whole of your heart and don’t be ignorant of the devil’s devices like distractions from man or object like ringing noise from a phone when you pray but be focus (2 Corinthians 2:11).

Finally brethren, ask God for wisdom in prayer to teach you how to pray (Luke 11:1) and to give you wisdom who He gives liberally to all who ask that you might grow in your prayer life, in service and in all areas of Christian living (James 1:5).

Gospel Truth on Prayer

Prayer is like the Google search engine; use the right keywords from the scriptures to get the best result  (Luke 18:1; Romans 12:12; 2 Timothy 3:16; John 5:39).

Just like Google, search the scripture diligently (John 5:39) to get the right keywords for prayer e.g. armour of God (Ephesians 6:11), blood of the Lamb (Revelation 12:11) etc.

Philippians 4:6
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Ephesians 6:18
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

Illustrating the Divine Trinity with the Human Head

The idea of the divine Trinity or God existing in three forms: Father, Son and the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19), has been one of the most controversial topic of discuss in modern day Christianity. Some argue that the idea means three gods, while some say it means one God in three persons.

It’s brain cracking. I personally found it extremely confusing at the early stages of my conversion before this very idea sprang up in my mind. Even at that, I’m still finding more answers to many unanswered questions concerning the topic. In the mean time, let me give out what I have and know for now as no man can have or know it all in a single day just as Rome wasn’t built in a day.

The word “trinity” was not spelled out verbatim in bible; just as the word bible was not spelled out verbatim in the bible also, but the idea of the trinity is found in the bible (Colossians 2:9). The word that signifies the concept of trinity in the scriptures is “Godhead”. Godhead is the synonymous word for “trinity” in the bible just as bible is not found in the word of God but the word “scripture” is found and it’s the synonymous word for “bible” in the word of God (2 Timothy 3:16).

In Romans 1:20 KJV: “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:”

In other words, the invincible thing of God are clearly seen even from the creation of the world and by the things that are made in it both eternal power and Godhead (i.e. Trinity) itself (Romans 1:20). This means that the Godhead can be understood with the thing that are made in the world but in this case I will be using the human head which we all have and see everybody with everyone on daily bases.

The trinity from my own observation of the head of the beautiful child from the photo uploaded is one God in distinct forms performing different functions using the eye, nose and mouth as the model with eye representing the Father, nose representing the Son and the mouth representing the Holy Spirit (Isaiah 43:10; 1 Corinthians 8:4).

The eye represent the all seeing part of God who is omnipresent with eyes going to and fro the earth seeing all the doings and goings of man (2 Chronicles 16:9; Proverbs 5:21).

The nose represent the breath and life giving part of God and this is through Jesus Christ who is the way, the truth and the life and no man can come to the Father unless through the Son, Jesus (John 14:6; John 6:63; John 6:53).

The mouth represent the Holy Spirit which is the speaking part of God teaching man all things concerning the Father and Son (John 14:26).

God, unlike man, who is the creator of the universe can choose to exist and appear in any form that pleases Him and does not mean He is not the same one God (Exodus 6:3). I believe God chooses to appear in different forms because the sinful nature of man cannot withstand the righteous form of God since light and darkness have nothing to do with each other (Romans 1:18; Psalm 71:19).

The Holy Spirit, who is God, descended in the form of a dove during the baptism of Jesus does not mean the Holy Spirit is dove but that God Himself signifying His presence in the form of a dove (Matthew 3:16-17). The Holy Spirit taking the form of fire at the Pentecost does not mean the Holy Spirit is fire but took the form of fire signifying the presence of God (Acts 2:1-4).

In like manner also , God took the form man in Jesus to die for the sins of man (Philippians 2:6) does not mean that God is man or man is God, but God in man (John 1:14).

The ear represent the man who cannot see God but God can see man and everything through anything (2 Chronicles 16:9). Man cannot see the invincible Father, Son and Holy Spirit but is expected to pay attention to the invincible speaking part of God — the Holy Spirit, but the Devil and minions  represented by the temporal hair and as numerous as grasses, grow so tall to cover the ear (man) to prevent man from hearing voice of the Holy Spirit but in the end their labour will be in vain as they will be cut off and thrown and burnt into an eternal lake of fire (Revelation 20:10; Revelation 20:15; Psalm 37:38).

How we Can Develop Our Personal Love for Jesus Christ

Do you sincerely love Jesus Christ? The Son of God who took away your shame and guilt by dying on the Cross of Calvary (1 Peter 2:24)?

Jesus Christ exhibited the greatest love for us by surrendering His life on the cross of Calvary (1 John 4:10). It is written and said by Jesus that the greatest love that can be showed is when a man surrender his life for His friends (John 15:13) . This is exactly what Jesus did for us. Without the sacrifice on the cross, man would have been eternally lost from the Creator. Jesus death on the cross made Him the only mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5). Anyone who believes in the Son has eternal life and restored communion with the father (John 3:16) .

Since Jesus surrendered His life for you on the cross, what do you have to give Him in return? Your love of course! (Matthew 22:37). Because of the love Jesus has for us, He doesn't see us as servants, but as His friends ( John 15:15). What a privilege we have that we become a friend to the great God (Isaiah 9:6) and through whom all things were made in the universe (John 1:3).

To develop your relationship with Jesus Christ, first, you have to surrender your life completely to Him, willing to obey Him in whatever He ask you to do (John 2:5). God loves obedience. The obedience of Abraham made him father of many nations (Genesis 17:3-4). The obedience of Christ on the cross redeemed man from condemnation and doom (Romans 5:19) . Wherefore God highly exalted the names of Jesus that at the name of Jesus all knees shall bow and all tongues shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord (Philippians 2:9-11).

Keeping diligently the commandments of Jesus also help in developing our love for Jesus (Ecclesiastes 12:13). Jesus said in His word that if you love Him, you should keep His commandment (John 14:15). Obeying the commandments of Christ is a sign that you love Jesus and the love will grow gradually, but on the other hand, disobedience to the commandment of Christ is a sign of lack of love for Christ.

Since the commandments of Christ are in the word of God, we will need to spend some quality time with the scriptures and meditating on it day and night (2 Timothy 2:15; John 5:39 ). As we do this, we don’t only draw ourselves closer to God, but our love for the author of the word of God — God Himself — will increase. We should not just study the scripture for intellectual purpose only, but with the intent to obey and practice.

Being among the fellowship of other believers can also help in developing our love for Christ. We listen to the word of God and the Gospel of Christ (Romans 10:17). We have been admonished in the scripture that we shouldn't forsake the gathering of other fellow believers because whenever believers gather in the name of Christ, Christ is also there in their midst (Matthew 18:20; Hebrews 10:25). Since Christ is always in the midst of believers, by being in the presence of fellow believers, we have a communion with the Son also and thus our love for Him will increase.

Increase your love for Christ with this guide and I persuaded that neither death, life nor things present or things to come shall be able to separate you from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:38-39).

The True Church and the Real Rock — Understanding Matthew 16:18

Jesus said to Simon Peter: “And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it” (Matthew 16:18).

This verse  has been one of the most misinterpreted  in the Bible, and consequently, has lead many astray from the truth (Luke 11:52). Many conclude that Jesus handed over mantle of leadership to Peter, urging him to carry on as the head of the Church when He had gone (John 14:3).

The words of Jesus should not be taken literally always  because Jesus who was full of knowledge, knew how to use words that are different from the apparent meaning (Matthew 13:10-11).

For example, the words of  Jesus in Mathew 5:30 can be easily be misinterpreted and taken literally, but  it was only a figurative expression  emphasizing on the urgency to “cut sin off” without delay even if we get worldly gain from it in order not to be thrown into an eternal lake of fire (Revelation  20:15).

Similarly, the words of Jesus in Matthew 16:18 shouldn’t be taken literally as well. It appears that Jesus was only playing on words and not handing over leadership to anyone, because He himself has always been the head of the Church, and was never interested in any form of leadership (Ephesians 5:23; Philippians 2:7).

When Peter who was one of the disciples of Jesus, was told by Jesus : “That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church”, Peter as a name itself, means “rock”— a very strong stone. A rock is known for it solidity, and never swayed by any adverse natural condition, but  it still remains fixed standing tall in any conditions of nature (Matthew 7:24-25).

The meaning of the name, Peter is confirmed in John 1:42: “And he brought him to Jesus. And when Jesus beheld him, he said, Thou art Simon the son of Jona: thou shalt be called Cephas, which is by interpretation, A stone.”

When Jesus said He will build His church upon a solid foundation of rock,  He wasn’t referring to any particular church in structure or name, but was referring to His total true believers across the globe — universal church (Matthew 16:18), or small group of His believers from the total who assemble in His name  in a particular location in any part of the world—local church (Matthew 18:20).

When any group of believers come together in Christ name,  regardless of the environment, building structure or population,  a local church of Christ is formed because He is there invincibly in their midst (Matthew 18:20).

Few true believers among family members coming together in Christ name,  sharing His word in the home, forms a local church of Christ,  but if a battalion of people flock into a gigantic building structure  and no true believers of Christ among them and Jesus not made the center of focus, it is isn’t ideal to call such assembly a church, but a cult (Mathew 15:9).

So, you may ask which rock do Jesus intended to build his church on? Not on the rock of Peter alone, but on the rock and foundation  of all the efforts rendered by the apostles and prophets, among which Peter is among and Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone or rock, as it is written in Ephesians 2:20: “And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone” and Revelation 21:14: “And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.”

And any church built upon the rock and foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Jesus at the center focus, the gates of hell can never prevail against it (Matthew 16:18).  That’s to say, no weapon targeted by the forces of darkness against such church or it membership of true believers can ever proper no matter how hard they try  because at the name of Jesus, all knees  bow and all tongues confess that Jesus is Lord (Isaiah 54:17; Philippians 2:9-11).

Families and relationships have been broken and disintegrated because of the erroneous idea of  what church is all about.  The husband and wife fight over which church to belong, and they do this because they think the church is just the building structure alone but why don’t they stop the fight(conflict)  and use the right(Holy Bible)  to know the right(right church to belong)?

Couple who have tried their God’s given affection for each other,  decide finally to tie their both hands in marriage, but out of the bloom comes the family standing in between urging them not to go close to each other because they don’t belong to the same “church” but I tell you the truth, we ought not to belong to any church but to belong to God through Jesus Christ,  and what God intends to join together, let no man put asunder (Mark 10:9).

The Secret of Effective Prayer

Prayer is the act of communicating with God (Philippians 4:6). Have you ever prayed and you feel tired to continue, sleepy or your mind wavering to and fro with different thoughts while still paying? This is because you’ve not mastered the keys and secret of effective prayer life.

First, to pray effectively, you have to maintain a clear conscience between you and God. Maintaining a clear conscience has to do with having no hidden sin in our life or sinful thought within us. The scripture stated it categorically that the prayer of a sinner is an abomination to the Lord but the prayer of the righteous is His delight (James 5:16; 1 Peter 3:12; Psalm 34:15).

To have a clear conscience and to blot out every hidden sin within you, is by confession and accepting Jesus into your life. Confess your sin to God because He is faithful and just to forgive (1 John 1:9). You won’t  be held ransomed for your past sins when you confess your sins, seek pardon and accept Jesus into your life because old sins will be blotted out by the blood of the Lamb and behold all things will become new (2 Corinthians 5:17; 1 John 1:7).

Prayer is a spiritual warfare between the kingdom of light and the kingdom of darkness (2 Corinthians 10:4). Satan and his minions wage war against the prayers of the righteous to be answered by God (Daniel 10:12-13).  For this reason it is written in the scripture that we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers in high places (Ephesians 6:12). In prayer, we wrestle with principalities and powers preventing our prayers from being heard and answered by God.

A case study in the scripture is Daniel in Daniel 10, where the prayer of Daniel was rattled by Satan and his demons. Daniel prayed and fasted for three weeks but the angel sent to deliver his prayer was withheld until angel Michael came to the rescue (Daniel 10).

To pray effectively, at the beginning of your prayer, cover your prayers with the blood of Jesus. There is power in the blood of Jesus because it is with the blood of Jesus that He shed on the cross that Satan was overcome (Revelation 12:11) and all his evil works destroyed (1 John 3:8).

Bound Satan and all his agents that may want to hinder your prayer in high places (Ephesians 6:12). As children of God, the authority has been given to us to bind and loose because it is written whatever we bind on earth shall be bound in heaven and whatsoever we loose on earth shall loosed in heaven (Matthew 18:18; Revelation 20:1-2).

Always pray in the name of Jesus. Satan and his agents can’t just withstand the name because at the mention of the name Jesus, all knees bow — including the knees of Satan and his agents and all tongues confess that Jesus Christ is the Lord (Philippians 2:9-11).

Finally brethren, put on the whole armour of God that you may be able to withstand the wiles of the devil while praying (Ephesians 6:11). As stated earlier, prayer is a spiritual warfare and no man of war goes into the battlefield  without first putting on a protective armour or covering and having a sword in his hand. With the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God, destroy all works of Satan in prayers that you may please Him (Jesus) that choose you to be a soldier (2 Timothy 2:4).

Gospel Truths of the Day

Truth 1

Sometimes God takes us to the troubled water not to drown us, but to teach us. God sometimes uses suffering and trials to take our eyes off this world and put them on Him and the next world to come (Romans 8:18; 1 Peter 1:7).

Truth 2

It's dangerous to live without Jesus. As chicks flee for safety under the wings of the hen, so must we run to God for protection (Ephesians 6:11). There are dangers around, but we know that the God we serve and the power in His Word delivers us from all dangers and fears (Psalm 34:19).

Truth 3

When you love Jesus and you’re loved by Him, you will never feel the need to be loved by others but rather, you will always feel the need to love everyone (Matthew 22:39; 1 John 4:8).

Truth 4

Only Jesus gives a heart filled with love and a mind devoid of fear (Ezekiel 36:26; 2 Timothy 1:7).

Truth 5

Just like Jesus walked the streets of Galilee, healing the sick, raising the dead and giving hope to the hopeless, He is still doing the same today (Matthew 4:23).

Truth 6

God’s plan is for every soul to be saved and influenced by the Holy Spirit (1 Timothy 2:3-4). Yield into God’s plan by accepting Jesus into your life now because only through Jesus one can be saved (Acts 4:12).

The Secret of a Happy Marriage

Well,  they say a person who is single gives the best relationship advice.  I’m single and have only being into a relationship with Jesus all my life.

Marriage is a honorable thing and whoever finds a wife, finds a good thing (Hebrews 13:4).

It’s good to know the basics of marriage before going into it because if mistake is made,  it can never be corrected without going contrary to the will of God (Matthew 5:32).

Don’t rush into marriage because you see other people rushing into it because I tell you the truth,  some who rush into it are wishing they could come out of it and become single once again just like you.

Don’t consider your age,  family and peer pressure,  you soul mate family background,  financial and education status when you want to make your choice for marriage.  God created just one partner for you and no other can take it place or else you won’t have a happy marriage for the rest of your life on earth but you must give God enough time to mold and direct that “special one”  to you (Proverbs 3:6).

God is never in a hurry because He has all eternity to work (2 Peter 3:9),  then why should you be in a hurry when God Himself whom we were all created in His image and likeness is a patient God (Genesis 1:27).  Wait for that person who before the creation of the world,  God predestined  for you (2 Timothy 2:19).

Well for those who are already married,  pay close attention to this.  You did your marriage in the church, right?  Have you ever asked yourself why you did your marriage in the church and not in the zoo? Well,  the answer is you did your marriage in the church because marriage is a bond created by God between male and female and they become one flesh (Genesis 2:24).

Since God himself created and ordained marriage, only relying on the principles of God can make it continue without regular fights. No human is infallible, but only God is (Psalm 18:30).

A situation where the man and the woman give contrary  opinions on how the home should be ran, there is bound to be misunderstanding and fights.  The man says ”I’m right” and the woman says “Get out of here mhen.. You’re dam  wrong!”  and when it  is  not resolved,  they start suggesting divorce to resolve the conflict.

To divorce is against the commandments of God.  A man can only divorce his  wife if the woman is involved in sexual immorality ( Matthew 5:32) though he can still choose to forgive on that ground.  Court cannot decide your marriage but only God can and God cannot come from Heaven to control your marriage  but has already laid down His principle and rules of life including marriage life in the Holy Bible.

The Holy Bible is God breath and was written through divine inspiration( 2 Timothy 3:16) and it is infallible and should guide your marriage (Proverbs 30:5).

Make an agreement between yourselves that the Holy Bible should be the  judge of your marriage who make the final decision and declare the winner. When you find your wife doing something contrary to the scripture, call to her attention “sweetie pie, but that not what the scriptures says” and she will make amendment.  Likewise the wife should do the same to the husband.

To Remember the scriptures, you need the Holy Spirit (John 14:26). If this is practiced,  you will be surprise why you never get misunderstanding in your marriage anymore.

Happy marriage life to all the newly wedded  couples! Peace!

The Key to Living a Righteous and Sinless Life

From sin we were all conceived (Psalm 51:5) but God expects us to defeat sin during our stay on earth before we go and meet Him to give account of how we lived our lives on earth (Hebrews 9:27; Ecclesiastes 12:7).

If someone lives a good and sinless life, God will give the person a pass mark and allow him to spend his eternity with Him (Romans 6:23). To spend eternity with God, you must defeat sin and the defeat of sin is known as “salvation” (Ephesians 2:8-9).

Salvation is the key to living a righteous and sinless life. Without salvation, you cannot live a sinless life. I hear people say it’s impossible to live a life without sin, but I can say it’s not true because living a life consciously without sin is possible (Romans 6:12).

Follow the following steps below to defeat sin:

STEP 1: Make up in your heart that you are tired of sin and will never go back to sin for the rest of your life (Luke 18:13).

STEP 2: Confess your sins, seek pardon and forsake them (1 John 1:9).

STEP 3: By prayer and supplication invite the Holy Spirit  into your life (Philippians 4:6). Call on the name of Jesus because there is no other name by which man can be saved except the name Jesus (Acts 4:12)

STEP 4: Note the date you made the decision and write it down e.g. 11th of July, 2016.

STEP 5: The date you made that decision is your “born-again day”. Just like your birthday, it should be celebrated every month and every year (John 3:3).

STEP 6: Celebrate the day every month and every year and ensure you don’t deliberately commit any sin after your “born-again day”. Any sin at all you know in your heart is wrong, should be avoided. Some example of such sins are as follows: lying, cheating, stealing, gossiping, sexual immorality and others (1 Corinthians 6:9).

Give equal attention to any of the sin in the list or any other sin you know in your heart but pay utmost attention to sexual immorality and avoid it (1 Corinthians 6:18). Sexual immorality include: having sex with either a married  or unmarried person (Matthew 5:27) or masturbation (Galatians 5:19).

To put your sexual urge under control, avoid sexually explicit pictures or videos and also avoid looking someone with lust (Matthew 5:27-28).

STEP 7: On the third month as a born-again Christian, you will notice that sin will become irritating to you and you will hate it very much.

If you were having any sickness or demon, the sickness will be cured and demon will abscond (Matthew 8:28-32). Then after, the Holy Spirit will move in and take absolute control over your life (John 14:16; 14:26) and you will notice you will become happy, joyful, patient, loving and above all, you will have a strong self control over sin (Galatians 5:22-23). When the Holy Spirit come into you, you yourself  will know and you will notice anything you ask from God in prayers will be granted (John 14:13; Mark 11:24).

Practice these simple steps and it will be bye-bye to that sinful nature. Thanks and God bless and please ensure you spread this to help people defeat sin.

The Difference Between Hell, Hell Fire and Lake of Fire

At first glance, hell, hell fire and lake of fire can be confusing because of the “hell” and “fire” alliteration. After a careful study of the scriptures, hell, hell fire and lake of fire are used interchangeably but there are differences and similarities between the three topic of discuss.

Hell is a place of torment for the souls of the sinful dead (Matthew 23:33). It is a place somewhere beneath the earth where the sinful dead are confined and tormented (Proverbs 15:24). A case study of hell in the scripture is Lazarus and the rich man (Luke 16:19-31). The rich man who had all the moments of comfort saw the poor beggar—Lazarus in Abraham’s bosom.

Luke 16:23 KJV: “And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.”

In Luke 16:23, it was written that the rich man lifted up his eyes being in the torment of hell to beg Lazarus water (Luke 16:24). The rich man lifting his eyes up signifies the Abraham’s bosom was up and hell which the rich man was, was down and somewhere beneath the earth. It was a scenario where the chief became the beggar and the beggar became the chief. What a paradox!

Hell is a temporal place of torment. The souls in hell awaits the final resurrection where everyone will be judged according to his or her works and anyone whose name is not found in the book of life is thrown into the eternal lake of fire (Revelation 20:12; 20:15). The lake of fire is the final destination and permanent dwelling place for all who are confined in the hell presently after they will have been judged and made aware of their various offenses (Hebrews 9:27).

Hell fire and lake of fire are most times used interchangeably and can mean the same thing. First, we need to understand that the lake of fire is a pit that has been or will be dug for Satan, his angels and all antagonistic rebels of God's word both angelic and human (Revelation 21:8). While hell is not a pit but a temporal place of torment with entrance and exit (Matthew 16:18), lake of fire is a pit with lake-like flames where the devils, his minions and all unrepentant sinners will torment day and night for ever and ever (Revelation 20:10; 21:8)

In the King James version of the Holy Bible, Hell fire, lake of fire and everlasting fire refers to the same thing i.e. the eternal destination of sinners, demons, and Satan (Matthew 18:9; Revelation 20:15; Matthew 25:41).

Satan is not in hell right now but still moving to and fro the earth seeking who to devour with his kingdom in the heavens and in high places (Ephesians 6:12; 1 Peter 5:8; Job 1:7).

1 Peter 5:8: “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:”

After the resurrection of Christ and before His ascension, Christ descended to the place where the old testament saints were kept and together with them, He ascended to heaven (Ephesians 4:8-9). With the death of Jesus on the cross of Calvary, Christ destroyed the works of Satan and snatched the keys of hell and death from him and behold Jesus is seated at the right hand of the Father with the keys of hell and death (Revelation 1:18).

Revelation 1:18: “I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.”

Accept Jesus today because He has the power to save and rescue you from sin, hell and death (Romans 6:23).

How We Can Reconcile and Restore Our Lost Relationship with God

Shortly after the very beginning of the creation of the world, we got disconnected eternally from God through disobedience by our early parents—Adam and Eve (Genesis 3) but   I  tell you the truth,  the quickest and easiest way we can reconcile our lost friendship with Him is by total and strict obedience to Him by His Word, the Holy Bible. We got disconnected by disobedience, and we can only get reconnected by obedience (Romans 5:19).
God abhor disobedience but since the damage has already been made erroneously  by Adam through Eve and deceived by Satan, He provided a solution and a way to reconcile us back to Him by working through men by His Spirit—the Holy Spirit, to put down all what is written in the scripture(2 Peter 1:21; 2 Timothy 3:16) .
History  tells us that after God had provided a means for man to come to Him by obedience through the Bible,  the devil knowing this, and because he does not want us to have any opportunity to go back to God just like his estranged self, He waged war against the Bible by working through some of his agents like Nero and others  to ensure the Bible doesn’t spread.  He killed most of the writers  of the Bible—which was written under divine inspiration, except John (after several failed attempts) who later wrote the book of revelation by divine inspiration and through vision and trance.
He continued waging war against the Bible through a certain so called  “church”  when a  law was erroneously  stipulated that only certain trained persons should be allowed to read the Bible that was provided by God for everyone and anyone who was found with Bible was persecuted, tried or killed.
Even at that, the Bible and the gospel continued to spread like wild fire in it primordial period  and devil after  realizing that He had failed and cannot beat the Creator of wonders—God, he devised another strategy to devalue the Bible by enticing false teachers to himself  with fake  promises for wealth and material things to work for Him in propagating false teachings with the Bible so that people of God will not see the light and value in the Bible and will not take it seriously either (1 John 4:1-3).
But God is still in the very business,  raising men like He did in the old to combat this evil work of the devil and they are scattered all over the world. Most of them are not known and they themselves don’t even desire to be known, but they do what they have been called to do quietly, all for the glory of God (1 Corinthians 10:31).
God’s Word is sealed and it’s final and cannot change no matter how we erroneously deny ourselves this fact,  it still remains a fact (Matthew 24:35). We are left with two choices to either  submit ourselves to Him and obey Him, or bear the damnable consequences for disobedience which Adam and Eve paid for, and which we ourselves are still paying for the same inherited disobedience dearly until this very day (Genesis 3:16,19).
It’s  a fact that we can only come to God through Jesus (John 14:6),  but this fact itself and everything else we need to know are all in the Bible because God didn’t leave us in the dark to destroy (Isaiah 45:19).  It’s another fact that the Bible can only be well understood by divine inspiration through the Holy Spirit (John 14:26), but the Holy Spirit comes and starts working in us only when we decide in our heart to start obeying  God though His Word (Ecclesiastes 12:13).  For a start and if we don’t have the Holy Spirit yet, we should ask God for wisdom and understanding directly which He gives liberally to all who ask from a sincere heart from Him (James 1:5; Mark 11:24).
Every punctuation and everything else in the scriptures matter and should not  be taken for granted. When we choose to obey God through His Word, we will not only reconcile ourselves back to Him, but we will save ourselves from His wrath on us to come that will lead to our eternal damnation and doom when we fail to meet the required demand of obedience which works repentance (Revelation 20:15).
